In the division series of the Southern League, the Huntsville Stars fell to the Chattanooga Lookouts 2-1. Shawn Zarraga and Hainley Statia both participated in this game. Hainley went 0 for 3, struck out once and drew a walk once. Shawn Zarraga didn’t collect a hit in four at bats and struck out once. He scored one run though after he grounded into a force out and got on base thanks to the fielders choice. He eventually scored on a single by Nick Ramirez. It is not the best time to start slumping. If the Stars lose the series, Zarraga and Statia will join team Netherlands in their preparation for the upcoming European Cup.
A Advanced
In game one of the Carolina League’s championship series Randolph Oduber hit a double. This was his only hit in four at bats. He struck out twice. His team, the Potomac Nationals stayed at the wrong side of the score as they fell 2-0 to the Myrtle Beach Pelicans.
A Full Season
Sicnarf Loopstok didn’t get a hit in two at bats. He struck out one and drew one walk. Apparently he called a good game because the Captains’ pitchers allowed only one run as the Captains beat the TinCaps 5-1.
