Today, the World Baseball and Softball Confederation unveiled the new World Ranking.
The top three did not change much. Japan and Chinese Taipei are still firm in first and second place, but Korea was overtaken by the USA for rank #3.
Of the European countries, the Netherlands remains the strongest. As a matter of fact, the Dutch moved into seventh place, surpassing the Dominican Republic, which was overtaken by not only the Netherlands, but also by Venezuela and Cuba.

The Dutch came from the eighth spot and have 2468 points now.
Another part of the Dutch Kingdom, Curaçao, moved up eleven places into rank thirty-three.

Of the other European countries, the Czech Republic remains the strongest, but the Czechs have dropped one spot (fourteen to fifteen). Italy climbed one spot in to sixteenth place. The difference between the two countries is now hundred and three points.

Germany and Spain stayed put, eighteenth and nineteenth respectively, France moved up one spot into twenty-first place, Great Britain rose two spots into twenty-second place. Also Belgium rose one spot as it moved from place twenty-five into twenty-four with 412 points.
