After the first game of today was suspended due to superfluous rainfall, the second game was cancelled due to poor field conditions as a result of the constant rain.
The grounds crew together with a lot of volunteers did everything in their might to prepare the field and make the game possible. But it was an unequal struggle.
As a result, tonight’s cancelled game has been moved to Thursday night (August 19), starting time 17.00 (5.00 PM) local time. As mentioned earlier today, the suspended game of this morning will be continued with a 9-5 score in the bottom of the fourth inning, tomorrow at 13.00 (1.00 PM) local time.
Tomorrow night, game 5 of the tournament will continue as planned, pending the cooperation of the weather gods.
