This year’s tournament is hosted by two countries: The Czech Republic and Slovakia. The Czechs are hosting Group A with the Czech Republic, Germany and France. The Slovakians are hosting Group B with Slovakia, Austria, Italy and the Netherlands.
Austria 0 – 15 The Netherlands
After a scoreless inning, the Dutch made up for the not scored runs in the bottom of the second. By then the race was already run, but the Austrians still had to work their way through two more innings.
A 6-3 groundout by Otis Ward, drove in the sole run of the third inning. In the fourth inning, the final score was reached when Junairo Ostiana hit a bases clearing double that drove in three more runs.
