Belgian Division 1 club Brasschaat Braves has added to American players to its roster, one pitcher (Cole Jenkins) and one infielder (Eli Straw).


The new infielder is Eli Straw from Ocracoke NC. Straw can play third base and the other infield positions and he can also serve as a relief pitcher according to Baseball Reference.
Eli played the 2017 and 2018 season for the Emory & Henry Wasps in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. In these two years, he posted a .278 batting average. In 2020, he played for the Tucson Saguaros of the independent Pecos League. In that year, he batted a decent .333 in sixteen games and nine at bats. In 2019, he played for the Carolina University Bruins. With that college he appeared in 31 games,had a .309 batting average with 110 AB, 26 R, 34 H, 5 HR, 28 RBI, and 8 BB. He held a .868 fielding percentage with 106 C, 54 PO, 38 A, and 9 DP.

Cole Jenkins is a left handed pitcher from Little Rock AR. He pitched for several schools like the Parkview Patriots, Arkansas State Red Wolves, Liberal Bee Jays, Lyon Scots, Okotoks Dawgs. Recently he pitched for the Drury Panthers. Jenkins set the Parkview record for strikeouts and led Class 7A Arkansas in K’s as a junior…Struck out the side in districts and helped a 1.05 ERA and a .018 batting average and a .80 whip in the Western Major Baseball League in Canada.
