On day one of the final round of the regular season, the following games were scheduled:
Oosterhout Twins @ HCAW, Hoofddorp Pioniers @ Curaçao Neptunus, DSS/Kinheim @ Quick Amersfoort, and Silicon Storks @ L&D Amsterdam Pirates.

Unfortunately, Pluvius made it impossible to play three of the four games. Only the game between Hoofddorp Pioniers and Curaçao Neptunus could be played.

Meerlease Pioniers – We make players better..Hoofddorp Pioniers halted Neptunus’ twenty-game winning streak. After a three-run first inning, it looked like this game would be like most other Neptunus games of the 2020 season. But Hoofddorp Pioniers made the Rotterdam-based team work for its money. After Pioniers got on the board on a groundout by Nathan Berkel, the club did the unexpected. In the fop of the fifth, with runners on the corners, Victor Draijer homered down the left field line to give Pioniers a 4-3 lead. Unfortunately for Pioniers, their lead was short lived. After Neptunus loaded the bases in the bottom of the fifth inning, Darryl Collins singled to right field to drive in Shaldimar Daantji and Dashenko Ricardo. But once again, Pioniers refused to give up. With Jorrit Penseel on first and two outs in the top of the sixth inning, Max Draijer tripled to right-center field to tie the game at five.
Chris Pfau, normally capable of pitching deeper into the game, was pulled after five full innings and ninety-five pitches. Nathan Diaby kept Neptunus from scoring in the first inning of his outing (the sixth) but in the seventh, he gave up a double to Dwayne Kemp, who advanced to third on a wild pitch and scored on a passed ball. But eventually in the top of the eighth inning, Pioniers tied the game again when Bodhi de Vreede could score from third base on a wild pitch. And that was the final achievement of the game as no runs were scored and no new innings could be started after 22.30 (10.30 PM) due to the curfew rule.
Both starting pitchers pitched five innings. Chris Pfau (Hoofddorp) gave up five runs on twelve hits and two walks and struck out three. Diegomar Markwell allowed four runs on eight hits and a walk and struck out three as well.
Max Draijer was the best hitter for Hoofddorp Pioniers as he went 2 for 2 with a triple and an RBI. For Curaçao Neptunus, Dwayne Kemp was the best hitter with three hits out of five at-bats with a double and two runs scored.
