Czech Extraliga starts tonight

The Czech Republic will have a European scoop. Tonight the Extraliga will be the first European baseball competition that will start this year. In one of three opening games, it will be a clash of the Titans. Reigning champion Arrows Ostrava will take on multiple champion Draci (Dragons) Brno.

In the matchup between Ostrava and Brno, Ostrava can end a 21-game winning streak of opening games. Since 1999, Draci Brno hasn’t lost an opening game in the Czech Extraliga.

As you can see, the capital of Prague (Praha) is overly represented by four clubs. Brno is a good second with three clubs.
